A new and updated version of mPassport app has been released,the new app makes the process for passport application as well as management easy and convenient,using this app individuals can now apply for passport from anywhere in the country,the new app is available for android as well as iOS platform with the feature for new user registration,signing in,application form filling,fee calculator etc.
Hon’ble External Affairs Minister Smt. Sushma Swaraj launched the mPassport Seva Mobile App with additional facilities on the occasion of the ‘Sixth Passport Seva Divas’ on 26 June, 2018 in the gracious presence of Hon’ble Minister for Communications (I/C) Shri Manoj Sinha and Hon’ble Minister of State for External Affairs General (Retd.) Dr. V.K. Singh,The mPassport SevaApp will now support enhanced set of passport services such as:-
New User Registration,
Sign In to Registered User Account,
Application form filing to apply for Passport and Police Clearance Certificate,
Pay for Passport Services,
Appointment Scheduling,
Application Availability Status,
Document Advisor, and
Fee Calculator.
The mPassport Seva App is available for Androidand iOS platforms and will have the facilities to apply, pay and schedule appointments for passport services. With the launch of this mPassport SevaApp, citizens would not require access to a computer and printer to apply for passport services.
